We have a wide range of plant gifts that are suited for all areas across Auckland. We recommend the best gifts for those living in West Auckland and Waitakere are native plants like the Kakabeak (with red flowers) and the Kowhai Dragons gold (with yellow flowers). These two native plants produce wonderful flowers in early spring that attract native birds like Tui to the garden. The kowhai is widely regarded as New Zealand’s unofficial national flower.

This is a shrub variety that can be planted directly in the garden or is suited for pots. The Metrosideros produces stunning red flowers that flower through summer.

Plants like Peace Lilies, Monstera Deliciosa or the striking Monstera Thai Constellation make fantastic gifts for those living in apartments or those with confined spaces around Auckland City and fringe Suburbs (areas like Ponsonby, Parnell, Herne Bay, Freemans Bay, Grafton, Eden Terrace and Newton).
