Ficus Benjamin is grown outdoors and as a houseplant in homes and offices and is a popular feature in interior commercial landscaping. It is a rare tree that has a good tolerance for the limited light conditions of indoor environments.

Ficus Benjamin is one of the best plants for improving air quality indoors. It has one of the top removal rates for air toxins such as formaldehyde, benzene, and trichloroethylene. It is a fast grower and may need to be repotted up to once per year as it can easily outgrow its situation.

This potted plant comes in our medium-sized box and includes a gift card personalised with your message. The freight is included for delivery anywhere in New Zealand.

PLANTING AND CARE ADVICE

The plant is sensitive to cold and should be protected from strong drafts. It requires a moderate amount of watering in summer, and only enough to keep it from drying out in the winter.

NORTH ISLAND

We aim to deliver orders received by 10am (Monday to Thursday) to main North Island centres within 2 working days. Please note; if an order is placed after 10am on Thursday it will not be dispatched until Monday as we don't want plants sitting in the courier depots over the weekend. Add 2-3 days for rural deliveries and outlying towns, as the courier may not deliver daily.

SOUTH ISLAND

Deliveries to South Island main centres take 2-3 working days if received before 10am, plus 2-3 days for rural deliveries and outlying towns, as the courier may not deliver daily.

I received a large Give Plants tree from a friend today and wanted to tell you that I think this is a great concept that I will use many times in future. I've thought about the number of times I've sent flowers to friends and family that subsequently wilted and were thrown away. Instead I could have been watching our kids climb or eat the fruit from a tree like those that you are providing. I'm a little disappointed I didn't think of this idea and excited that I can send something more meaningful when the occasion arises again. Congratulations. The box, tree and packaging are excellent.
